Motorcyclist dead, back-rider hurt after hitting light post in Quezon

LUCENA CITY — A 14-year-old motorcycle rider died and another was injured early Wednesday after their vehicle bumped into a light post in Sariaya town in Quezon province.
Motorcyclist “Shanrey” was traveling along the section of the Guis-Guis-Lutucan road around 2:50 a.m. when they bumped into a solar light post on the side of the road in Barangay Sto. Cristo.
Due to the impact of the crash, Shamrey and his back-rider, “Vicente,” 14, both residents of the locality, suffered grave injuries.
Shamrey died on the spot. Vicente was taken to Quezon Medical Center in this city for treatment.
