PNP reiterates zero-tolerance policy for erring cops
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday reiterated its “zero-tolerance” policy for erring personnel.
This was in response to remarks from Vice President Sara Duterte urging the PNP Academy “Sinaglawin” Class of 2025 not to “betray” their fellow Filipinos.
“Sususugan pa natin. Ang sinabi ng ating Chief PNP, yung zero tolerance sa pagkakamali ng ating PNP members at yung there will be no second chance sa magkakamali,” PNP public information chief col. Randulf Tuaño said in a press briefing at Camp Crame on Tuesday.
(We will second it. What our Chief PNP stressed is the zero tolerance for wrongdoing by PNP members and that there will be no second chances for erring officers.)

“Ibig sabihin, gawin lang natin kung ano yung nasa batas at kung ano yung tama,” he added.
(This means let’s just do what’s lawful and what’s right.)
